Mse7.exe, windows tasks, windows processes. Process Name: Microsoft Script Editor File Name: mse7.exe Author Name: mse7.exe is a file created by Microsoft and is a part of Microsoft Office Suite. Microsoft typically does not release Microsoft Office Basic 2007 EXE files for download because they are bundled together inside of a software installer. The installer's task is to ensure that all correct verifications have been made before installing and placing MSE7.EXE and all other EXE files for Microsoft Office Basic 2007. Run Asmwsoft Pc Optimizer application.; Then from main window select 'Process Manager' item. Wait for few seconds, then after the process list appears scroll down to find mse7.exe file you want to delete or stop.; click the mse7.exe process file then click the right mouse button then from the list select 'Add to the block list'.; This will prevent this process to run.

Hi Guys

Mse7 Exe Download

I have recently bought a new laptop with Windows 7 Professional pre installed.

I have a few Classic ASP web sites that I have built and maintain and so I need to be able to run these on IIS 7.5 and also be able to debug these with the Microsoft Script Editor (MSE7.exe)

I have been trying to set up IIS 7.5 (comes with 7 Pro) to do this but it is completely different in appearance from IIS 5.1 (installed on XP Pro) and I have not yet managed to get the set up right.

The main problem I am getting is that MES7.exe, the ‘Just in Time’ script debugger does not fire up when there is an error in the code and completely ignores ‘stop’ statements.

I have set ‘enable server side script debugging’ and ‘enable client side script debugging’ to true in the ASP tab in IIS and set the ‘send error messages to browser’ to true but still no joy.

MSE7 is installed as it comes with Office 2003 which I have installed and works fine on my XP machine. I can open the program but I can not find out how to make it automatically intercept error so that I can step through the code.

In XP Pro IIS 5.1 there is option for virtual directories called “Application Protection”. This must be set to Low to enable the debugger to fire up. It seems like the equivalent option in IIS 7.5 is not set correctly as the result I am getting from Windows 7 is exactly as if Application Security was set to Medium on my XP machine

Any help to resolve this issue would be hugely appreciated as my laptop was a big waste of money if I cant get this sorted. I have been tearing my hair out for days now
